Brownie and Anna welcome you to Shelly Beach Caravan Park. Situated on the Far West Coast of South Australia where you can experience the most pristine coastline in the world.
Shelly Beach Caravan Park is the gateway from Ceduna across the Nullabor and the Great Australian Bight to Western Australia and is known as the Oyster Capital of Australia and home of the King George Whiting. Denial Bay is renowned for its mouth watering oversized oysters, which you can purchase in the Oyster Bar or when you visit the oyster farms at Denial Bay. Enjoy remarkable whale watching at the head of the Bight where the Southern Right Whales migrate from the South Pole to the Head of the Bight, just to mate and can calve their young during the months of April to September.
Experience the unique park located on 55 acres of natural coastal reserve with secluded camping areas and 1km of beach frontage with magnificent views. 3 luxury apartments located on top of a living sand dune on the beach just 3kms from the town centre. Spacious shaded sites and clean, comfortable cabins will please your every budget. The campers kitchen is designed to create for you a great camping experience around an open fire place under the stars. Modern ensuite style amenities allow you and the family to shower together in comfort. Accredited tourism business, friendly customer service with 24 hour check-in.
New for 2016 at the park are wonderful Eco Beach Front Shacks. Boasting two bedrooms, each of the 3 Shacks has been designed to be an ecological home-away-from-home. Well thought out features include eco-friendly glazing on the windows, and bathroom facilities which make water use more efficient, not only within the Shack, but throughout the park. The clever system uses the water three times; firstly to wash hands, secondly to flush toilet and thirdly to irrigate the grounds, and thus promote growth of vegetation to conserve the pristine coastal sand-dunes. And none of these features detract from your unforgettable holiday experience at Shelly Beach!
Enjoy the tranquility of Bosanquet bay and ideal swimming and snorkeling beach. You can catch fish just 300m in the bay for King George Whiting, Snapper, Scallops and crabs. Come and relax with your family by walking the secluded beach, catch your own fish and have a ‘reel’ holiday.
