Mingara Gallery was established by Noelle Buckley in 2002 in the seaside township of Cowes, the heart of Phillip Island. Phillip Island is situated 140 kms southeast of Melbourne and is a popular tourist destination.
The Gallery represents a stylistically varied selection of Australian contemporary art of the highest calibre. It shows paintings, works on paper, sculpture and also displays a wide array of fine jewellery, ceramics, craft and exceptional homewares.
Situated in the Main Street of Cowes, the sleek exhibition spaces have beautiful courtyards. There is a substantial stockroom collection that may be viewed on request.
Ample onsite parking is available alongside the Gallery.
Mingara Gallery aims to showcase the talents of Australian artists, designers, craftspeople and is particularly committed to nurturing its relationships with local artists.
