Mount Larcom is a township in the Gladstone Region of Queensland. Loocated at the junction of the Bruce Highway and Port Curtis Way, our town is approximately 70km south of Rockhampton. Our country park is situated on 6.5acres in a lovely garden setting, conveniently just off the Bruce Highway.

We offer accomodation to suit a variety of travellers. Set up, camp on one of our grassed powered sites with slab and bistro settings, or stay on an unpowered site in our very roomy top tier camp ground – offering plenty of room and some privacy from the main park area, with stunning views of Mt Larcom and surrounding area from our purpose-built sunrise view- point.

Make yourself at home in one of our modern ensuite cabins, offering various accommodation options for couples and families. Some of our cabins feature a balcony or patio with garden views. All cabins are non-smoking and pet friendly.

We also have a fully equipped camp kitchen and barbecue facilities, or catch up on your washing in our coin operated laundry. We even provide free wifi to our guests. Your pets are welcome, although conditions apply.

Our sites are very spacious and well kept and we offer powered, and unpowered sites, RV friendly sites, and campsites. We also provide a range of cabins to suit a variety of needs and budgets.

Maaroom is a small, tranquil fishing village on the waters of the Great Sandy Strait, with spectacular views across to Fraser Island. It is a natural, pristine holiday setting, about 20 km south of Maryborough along the Cooloola Coast Highway.

Our park is a shady, peaceful place to unwind and relax, situated in a bushy setting 400m from the waterfront. We have powered and drive through sites with concrete annex slabs, as well as a large grassy camping area. Our cabins are bright, modern and fully self-contained, with linen available for hire. You can also enjoy our salt-water swimming pool and shady BBQ area.

Our shop provides snacks, cold drinks, bread, milk, grocery items and daily newspapers. We also have unleaded fuel, bait, ice and we can refill your gas bottles. Enjoy fishing, crabbing and the breathtaking bird and marine life in an idyllic environment, with a boat ramp and pontoon only 400m away.

THE QUIET & PEACEFUL PARK

Welcome to Mount Morgan Motel & Van Park. We are a Quiet Peaceful Park located in the historic picturesque town of Mount Morgan. Driving up the range provides breathtaking views, spanning across the plains of Rockhampton to the blue seas of the Capricorn Coast. You can follow the National Heritage trail from Bouldercombe to Mount Morgan if you like a challangeing walk. The rich history of Mt Morgan is quite exciting Our one little town mine had over 260 tonnes of gold, 37 tonnes of silver and 387 000 tonnes of copper removed from it so far. If you enjoy the excitement of fossicking, this is definitely the place to stay. Oakwood is a quiet retreat providing travellers with well-maintained shady concrete and grass sites. We also offer quality 1-2 bedroom ensuite cabins with well-equipped kitchens.

The amenities have been recently renovated and are very clean and well maintained, including a coin-operated laundry for your convenience. The camp kitchen is in a garden setting, and includes a barbeque, sink, microwave and kettle. Oakwood Caravan Park is a great place to stop and from here travel a short distance to see all that our region has to offer. And of course to enjoy our beautiful sunny winter days!
